Lumberjack Chic

<Images via DSW.com>

Hi girlies! I am introducing you to Mix No. 6 Dock Bootie. I’m obsessed! I bought these last month at DSW and I wear them all the time. To me they look like little hightop/lumberjack Sperry’s and are perfect for the fall/winter season. It’s not cold enough to wear Ugg’s yet, and even if it is you should only wear them in the snow. Anyways! I wear these with either leggings or skinny jeans and tuck them in.

For the full lumberjack look, rock it with some dark skinnies and a flannel, hair down, hoops? and be effortlessly gorgeous and chic. They are also lined with fleece and keep your toes super warm! Go to DSW or their website (link is above) and snag a pair for $44.95.

They also come in black but I think the brown is much more natural and cute.

Flannel is in this year, when is it not though? I love a good flannel and American Eagle has a ton this year. Here is one option for $39.50 and you can find it HERE!

Want more breathing room in your flannel? You can try one of the flannels in the guy’s section. They aren’t as cinched at the waist and have a looser feel. Another plus, boy’s shirts are longer in the back so you can rock the flannel with a pair of leggings. (I do it all too often after I “borrowed” my friend’s flannel, Thanks Eric!)

Here is a guy’s option that is also $39.50 and can be found HERE!

And while you’re at it, buy your men flannel! Every guy looks amazing in flannel and that is a straight FACT. Early Christmas present? I think so.

As always, happy shopping!

Forever Chic

Photography (with guidance) by the lovely Cassandra

Hi Fashion bunnies! I have been gone far too long (I know I say that all the time, Im sorry!) So a month or so ago I stopped by Forever 21 with my girl Cassandra. If you’ve read my blog, you know my hatred for Forever, but I was simply in love with this Missoni-esque dress, which you know I am also obsessed with Missoni.

This dress is super stretchy and form fitting for $22.80. I paired it with nude heels because they literally go with everything. My dream is to wear the dress with red pumps but I have yet to find a pair I love, so instead I rocked MAC Wonder Woman lipstick in “Russian Red.” If you are going to do a strong lip I suggest doing more natural eye makeup with just simple eyeliner and mascara.

To go with my “Kefi Chic” post, which the store is now called “CC Glam Designs,” I wore a pair of dangle hoops with pops of red beads. This can be found on “Etsy” for $8!

Here is close-up of the fabric. Happy shopping girls! I will be posting more stuff tomorrow!

Kefi Chic

This post is dedicated to jewelry! My bestfriend and jewelry crafter, Cassandra Cerasuolo is selling her stuff and building a business on Etsy.com where you can find all of her products on her page called “Finding Your Kefi.” Above are some dainty little blue and silver earrings that are $6 on the website.

In Greek, Kefi means the spirit of joy, passion, ethusiasm, high spirits or joyous abandonment. According to the site, she wants her products to bring you passion and joy, Kefi

These are one of my favorite pieces because they are so simple but can also add a pop of color to a neutral outfit. They are glass hearts and running for $8.

These are my actualllll favorite earrings of Cassandra’s because I am all about dangly earrings and I love the combo of shades of blue with a pop of green. These are $6 and new products are going on the website as we speak because she’s been making new jewelry the past few days.

If you order more than one product, she will combine it to one order for one shipping cost. Another option which will be on the website soon is products by request, such as if you prefer a longer earrings, different colored beads, or a certain style, Email Cassandra at the email below as well as check out the website,  Finding Your Kefi.

NEW Missoni Chic!

Hi babes! TODAY IS THE DAY! MISSONI FOR TARGET IS RELEASED!

I mean, the Target site has been crashed since 6am according to CocoPerez.com and the Target store near me is literally wiped out. Cassandra (my bestfriend and partner in crime) ran to the store at 9:40 and had 20 min before they closed.

Above is a picture of the blanket I bought, its for babies so it’s a little small but the print is to die for and even is sparkly up close. So you can still snuggle with it.

Cassandra bought the Missoni kimono and it is to die for!

So adorable to lounge around in!

Here is the sleep romper I bought and I’m OBSESSED.

I can’t even wait till they restock everything and the website is backup because from the ads I’ve seen, there are amazing shoes, bags, dresses and sweaters as well…

Good luck shopping because you’re gonna need it if you want your paws on some Missoni, go there nowwww!

White After Labor Day Chic

I’ve been having a huge ethical dilemma these past few weeks…is it ok to wear white after Labor Day in 2011?

The Answer: YES.

The picture is a little blurry but here is a casual class outfit for a hot day. I paired white American Eagle jean shorts, a Forever21 black racerback, a tan skinny belt and coordinating tan/turqoise sandals. I tucked in the tank top for a modern feel and the simple colors are very clean cut.

With such a simple outfit, I added some beaded bracelets and did a little hair twist to jazz it up slightly.

My best friend and I went on a bead-spree yesterday and bought way too many beads at JoAnn’s yesterday (40% off). I put together these little bracelets and added some crosses to them and decided I’m giving the middle/front one to my mom :) to go make you and your mom matching bracelets! It’s cute!

Moral of the story: you can wear white and make your mom a bracelet. bye gals!

Missoni Chic

Hi ladies! Coming to Target stores this week is their new Missoni collection that I’ve been dying to see! If you haven’t heard of Missoni or know what their collections look like I would definitely research it because they are all about the loud zig zag print and it’s so hipster chic.

I went to Forever the other day and discovered they have (not copied…?) some Missoni inspired pieces it looks like. The dress I bought isn’t on the website but it looks pretty identical to the pic above except mine is fitted. This dress is $24.80  and super cute.

Here are some ways to wear it in the Fall, Winter and Spring:

Fall: Pair it with some bright pumps like red to pull out the red in the dress or even some nude pumps with red lipstick. To jazz it up a little pair it with a waist belt to show off your curves.

Winter: Pair it with a dark brown pair of tights to keep your legs warm and some boots (with or without heels). Wear your hair down with loose curls to get the hippy look with darker brown eye make-up.

Spring: A cute pair of tan sandals with a sleek high bun will be perfect for those breezy yet warm months!

My best friend Cassandra and I both tried on this top (among another 500) and she ended up buying it for $17.80. We decided it would be perfect this fall paired with skinny jeans and some brown motorcycle boots for a laid back yet fashionable look.

Online shopping tip: To view all of these “zig zag” looks, go to www.forever21.com , go to the search box and type in “zig zag” and many more of these items will pop up!

Zig Zag Dress $22.80 at <forever21.com>

Style this dress with some black tights and chunky heels for a super 60’s/mod/retro look, to die for.

Happy shopping!

Jumpers!

Photo via <officialkourtneyk.celebuzz.com>

If you have followed my blog at all, you will know I am obsessed with Kourtney Kardashians style. The Kardashian sisters have released their “Kardashian Kollection” at Sears this past month and this is one of their pieces.

I did take a loot at the “kollection” in person this summer and some of the pieces are very cute. They claim that each item is affordable, but I’m not sure what their idea of affordable is…I suppose a $100 dress is better than a $5000 Gucci I suppose.

Anyways! This jumper is $68.99 and can be found at www.sears.com and is 30% off. They also have a pair of half leather leggings that are to die for, I have a pair that are from forever21 last year.

Check out the sunglasses! They’re to die for. The aviators have leather and button detailing on the side that I’m in love with for $21.99.

Hi gals!

So I took a break from the blogging world this summer because I’ve been super busy! I’m back at school and ready to some killer outfits and fashion pieces up again! Be ready!

H&M CHIC

Photo via <hm.com>

H&M has an online store in the U.S. now! I think my life is complete because I am in love with all of their clothes, they aren’t expensive and super stylish! This bikini top and bottom each are literally only $4.95 and the tan/gold is so simple and gorgeous. How amazing is that? I love H&M even more.

Everyone go check it out! Cheap bikinis and super stylish! And H&M of course. Happy shopping!

Hipster Chic

I’m obsessed with these hats this year! They are literally in every store and are such a key spring item to wear shopping, the beach, doing errands, basically everywhere. I also bought these retro sunglasses that have a little 50’s flare to them and are purple, my new favorite color.

I’m repping L.A. with this loose off the shoulder tee which you can’t see but the outfit was cute :( The focus is the hat though! Go buy one! And get a new pair of sunglasses you wouldn’t normally pick out. Happy shopping!

Hipster Hat: Macy’s $25

Sunglasses: FACES $12
